At the onset, GROUP TAPICO LTD concentrated on residential projects. The commercial, industrial and institutional side developed quickly with the arrival of two new shareholders, Diane St-Germain, and Sylvain Hervieux in 1991. Subsequently, these new areas of development overtook the residential side of our activities.

In 1993, GROUP TAPICO LTD acquired TANGUAY CARPETS, a well-known specialist in floor covering, thereby enriching our base of expertise and making our company a leader in floor covering throughout Quebec.

In order to widen our market base, GROUP TAPICO LTD opened a branch in Quebec City in 1995 under the corporate name of TAPICO QUEBEC Inc with the same activities.

In May 2000, GROUP TAPICO LTD obtained its ISO 9002 certification and continues to maintain a leading edge in floor covering technology.
